GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS FOR ADMISSION AS A SPECIAL POSTGRADUATE STUDENT

READ CAREFULLY THE INSTRUCTIONS BELOW:

1. DEFINITION

The way in which UnB admits the entry of students interested in taking isolated courses, without establishing a link with any undergraduate or graduate course of the Institution.

2. APPLICATION 

Holder of a higher education diploma.

3. REQUEST

The candidate must access the website https://inscricaoposgraduacao.unb.br/ register and then access the system using your username and password. Then, the page “Edicts with open enrollment” will appear. The candidate must click on PPG Economics – Selection for Special Student in Economics – complete the application including the requested documentation.

3.1. Applications will be received exclusively through the website. https://inscricaoposgraduacao.unb.br/.

3.2. Registration period: According to the academic calendar of UnB.

3.3. Submitted documents must be scanned in PDF format, clearly legible and in correct orientation. Documents that are not in PDF format, photos, illegible, inverted or with a scanning error will be disregarded.  The candidate will receive an acknowledgment of receipt message.

THE ORIGINAL DOCUMENTS OR AUTHENTICATED AT NOTICES MUST BE SCANNED. COPIES OF DOCUMENTS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.

3.4. DOCUMENTS FOR REGISTRATION

3.4.1 The “Application for Admission as a Special Student in Graduate Studies” form duly completed and signed. The disciplines can be consulted in the “offer list” menu. The form and the offer list are available on the website www.ppgeco.unb.br.

3.4.2 Higher education diploma;

3.4.3. Academic Transcript of the Higher Course;

3.4.4. ID card;

3.4.5. CPF;

3.4.6. Voter Title;

3.4.7. Proof of voting (1st and 2nd rounds) or the electoral discharge certificate issued by the website of the Superior Electoral Court – TSE;

3.4.8 Reservist Certificate (male);

3.4.9. Curriculum lattes;

3.4.10. Original proof of registration fee in the amount of R$ 79.00 (seventy-nine reais);

3.5. The servers of the University of Brasília may replace the proof of payment with the updated document that proves the link with the University. They are: updated job sheet, last paycheck of the month or term of office (for new servers).

IMPORTANT: The electoral discharge certificate does not replace the voter registration card, it only replaces the voting receipt. We also suggest that you pay attention to sending the correct and complete documentation. We emphasize that documents sent after the deadline (before or after the dates informed in the schedule), in incorrect format, incomplete or with delay in sending proof of payment of the tuition fee will have their applications rejected.

3.6. Candidates who already have enrollment for Special students: In the fields that request personal documents, diploma and transcript may be replaced by the declaration issued by the Academic Administration Secretariat – SAA, which contains the subjects already taken and the enrollment number. The declaration can be obtained from the SAA (Rectory Building). The Application form, curriculum vitae and proof of application fee are mandatory.

3.7. When you receive the response that the documentation has been received, it does not mean that it has been accepted, only that it has been received. It is the applicant's obligation, not the secretary's, to check if any documents are missing.

4. SUBJECTS

Each candidate may choose up to two of the courses offered.

 5. PAYMENT OF THE REGISTRATION FEE

Payment of the registration fee, in the amount of R$ 79.00 (seventy-nine reais) will be made exclusively through GRU (Union Collection Guide):

  • Then click "Next", and insert the Reference Number.
  • Reference Number: 4441 (Must be informed, as this number corresponds to the Graduate Program in Economics).
  • Date: Insert current month and year
  • Due Date: Insert current date
  • CNPJ or CPF of the Taxpayer: inform the candidate's CPF of the candidate
  • Taxpayer Name: Enter candidate name
  • Principal amount and total amount: R$ 79.00 (seventy-nine reais). If the candidate's application is accepted, you must pay R$ 113 (one hundred and thirteen reais) per credit.
  • The registration and credit fee will not be refunded under any circumstances (except in the situation cited in item 9, where only credit fees are refunded).

 Important: Candidates should save the original proofs of payment for registration and enrollment, as they can be requested if necessary.

 6. SCHEDULE 

 Must be accompanied. 

ATTENTION: It is the candidate's obligation to observe the schedule deadlines, as the results will be published on the website www.ppgeco.unb.br or at the secretariat of the Graduate Program in Economics. The secretariat does not send communications via email to selected students.

7. RESULT 

 After analyzing the requests, it will be published exclusively on the website www.ppgeco.unb.br, “Postgraduate” menu and in the course secretariat, the list with the names of the candidates who had their requests accepted.

These candidates must pay the registration fee in the amount of R$ 113.00 (one hundred and thirteen reais) per credit of the subject(s), in the form specified in item 5.1 and attach the original voucher in the field determined by the system https://inscricaoposgraduacao.unb.br .

Example: If the course has 4 (four) credits, the candidate must pay R$ 452.00 (four hundred and fifty-two reais).

IMPORTANT: The system will close after 17:59:00 on the last day of registration. Outdated documents will not be received at the secretariat, under any circumstances.

8. CLASSES

While waiting for the requests to be analyzed, candidates may attend classes and inform the professor of the discipline that they are a candidate for a special student and are awaiting the disclosure of the final result.

9. RETURN OF FEES 

The application fee will not be refunded under any circumstances. The credit fee will only be refunded when the teacher of the subject chosen by the candidate withdraws from teaching it. Therefore, we ask candidates to be convinced of their availability to take the desired subject(s).
